Deep pit bunkers, elevated greens, swathes of native grassland, waterfalls and meandering creeks-all provide more than 7,400 yards of championship level golf. Bear Trace at Tims Ford State Park
Just an hour-and-a-half south of Nashville lies another star of the Jack Nicklaus-designed collection. The course at Tims Ford features Champion Bermuda greens and 419 Bermuda fairways. The opening holes are a blend of links-style creations that gently roll across former pasture land, then gradually transition to wooded sites dominated by giant oak trees. The Tims Ford Reservoir is visible from some holes on the course and comes into play on several of the 18 holes, creating an excellent balance of challenge and playability.
